Each calendar is printed as a broadside on heavy paper stock. Marchbanks asked different book designers to design 12 monthly calendars for a full year and allowed them to use a profusion of colors in their work. In this run may be seen a number of calendars designed by Cleland, Dwiggins, Ruzicka, Lufkin and many others. An excellent display of American typography.
